Setup a QSC K8.2

As you start to setup for your event it is now time to position your speakers. We always recommend placing them on a flat surface in a corner or near the walls so they face into your space and are not in the way of guests.

Remove the speaker stand(s) from their bag and place it on the groud. Loosen the thumb screw and now the legs will expand down. Now lock off that same thumb screw.

The Speaker can now be lifted up carefully and placed on the speaker stand. There is a straight and angled hole option on the speaker according to your preference.

Whilst you are at it, run the IEC (Power Cable) to the speaker from any power point.

Plug in your device. According to your booking and preference you will be provided with a cable that suits your device, plug this in to the speaker end.

You can now adjust volumes. Be sure to have the input set to "LINE" for music and iphones. If you have a mic you will need it set to "MIC", this is because a mic requires a bit more juice.

From the "MIX OUT (POST GAIN)" connection plug in the provided XLR cable. Now plug the other end of that same XLR cable into Input A on the new speaker.
