Just like any equipment hire business, we take a bond. Separately to your booking amount we will take a $100 - $500 bond by charging your card. Assuming everything is followed as outlined in our Terms of Hire then you will receive your bond back into your account. Depending on your bank this can take between 0 - 5 days to happen. In some cases we may just pre-authorise your card meaning the money is temporarily held and never hits our account.

For larger jobs or extended hires we reserve the right to change the bond process, this will be communicated with the client during the quoting stage.

Release of Hire Bond

Assuming all goes well, we will "refund" you back your hire bond. Before a refund can take place we will inspect and test all equipment. If you have not received your hire bond back to your bank account within 5 business days then please reach out to our team.

Issues or Damage

If our terms of hire is not followed we will take the bond and charge any additional amounts required to your card. We will always ensure we communicate this with you. It's best to wipe down all equipment with a dry cloth and carefully wrap all cables to avoid being charged.
